Keysight Technologies this month launched a new OpenTAP Training and Certification program. The program delivers a hands-on learning experience that teaches test and QA engineers (and others) how to design, execute, and scale automated test solutions using OpenTAP. Whether validating devices, managing distributed systems, or scaling automation to the cloud, these certifications help hardware and software testers master test plan development and execution, as well as how to extend OpenTAP functionality with plugins.
Students completing the course and passing the included final exam will receive an OpenTAP Certification, including a diploma certificate and a digital badge suitable for display in a resume, LinkedIn profile, email signature - any environment where you might want to show off your OpenTAP expertise.
The first offering in the Training and Certification Program is the User Certification course.

OpenTAP is a 100% open source test automation platform. Test organizations can leverage OpenTAP using a range of test plan creation methods and tools, from creating test plans manually to leveraging open source test plan editors (e.g., TUI) to working with commercial offerings from Keysight, such as PathWave Test Automation.
